The origins
A Story of Hands
Ever since I was very little, my hands were always busy. Painting, pottery, beading, Fimo clay… Every weekend was a new opportunity to create something.
I grew up in a family that loved beautiful objects, fine details, and things made with care. My mother wore bold jewelry, original brooches, pieces unlike any other.
Without realizing it, it all started there.
Paris - 2012
THE AUDACITY TO LAUNCH
In 2012, I created Monsieur Simone in Paris, with a few tools, plenty of ideas, and a huge desire for freedom.
The first pieces of jewelry, the designer fairs, the first homemade website, the search for suppliers, and meetings with artisans… I learned every step by doing it.
There were doubts, trials, successes, and some truly wonderful collaborations. But one thing never changed: this desire to create jewelry that has a story to tell.
Paris for roots, Gordes for the light.
FROM PARIS TO GORDES, THE STORY CONTINUES.
After all these years in Paris, I chose to settle in Gordes, in the heart of the Luberon. A change of life that has naturally found its place in my way of creating.
Paris remains my roots, its architecture, its energy, its artisans. The South brings me a different light, nature, colors, and new inspirations. Today, Monsieur Simone continues to grow between these two worlds.

Laura, founder of Monsieur Simone, is a passionate designer who draws her inspiration from family heritage, travel and artisanal know-how to bring to life jewelry that combines poetry and character.
